ANU Indonesia Update Conference 2013

Regional Dynamics in a Decentralized Indonesia is the theme for the 31st annual Indonesia Update conference to be held at The Australian National University on Friday and Saturday, 20 – 21 September 2013.

The conference is free of charge.

If you attend the Saturday sessions, there are no cafes open on campus. An Indonesian style lunch will be provided by the Indo Café on Saturday 21 September ($10/head; students $7.50/head.) Payment is at the door. You will need to register if you want to attend the lunch, for catering purposes.

The conference dinner will be held at 7pm on Friday 20 September at Roti House, 4/121 Marcus Clarke Street, Civic. Payment ($30 per head, $20 student discount) is required by Friday 13 September. The ANU would prefer you to pay online but will also accept cash payments via Cathy Haberle:  Ph: 6125 3794

The book from the 2012 Update conference, Education in Indonesia (Indonesia Update Series 2012), edited by Daniel Suryadarma and Gavin Jones, is available for purchase through the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS), Singapore. Hard copies of previous Update volumes, or electronic issues from 1994 onwards can also be ordered on the ISEAS site.
